International Fraud Awareness Week
Share |

IASIU recognizes International Fraud Awareness Week November 17-23, 2019. This aligns with our mission to:

  •  Promote a coordinated effort within the industry to combat insurance fraud;
  •  Provide education and training for insurance investigators;
  •  Develop greater awareness of the insurance fraud problem;
  •  Encourage high professional standards of conduct among insurance investigators;
  •  and Support legislation that acts as a deterrent to the crime of insurance fraud.

We’ve complied several resources to help you think about insurance fraud during this week, and every week, throughout the year.

IASIU works with the industry’s leading experts in insurance fraud investigations. You can find them presenting in our monthly webinar series, authoring articles in our quarterly magazine, SIU Today, or speaking at our Annual Seminar.

If you work in SIU, it can be a challenge to get other departments on the same page. Read about how one SIU team created an SIU newsletter that was shared within their company. In it, they share success stories which helps get others in the company thinking about insurance fraud, and SIU, in a new way. Read the article and see if some of the tips might just help you in own organization.

Insurance fraud is an international issue. Read this report, just published by Insurance Europe, on the insurance fraud problem in Europe and what's being done to address it.

Resources from IASIU Partners
