SIU Today Going All Digital

Thanks for being a loyal reader of SIU Today. I wanted to share some important information about this valuable member benefit and trusted resource. You have likely noticed changes we’ve made to the magazine based on the survey results we received in the fall of 2017.

Your feedback was vital to help the editorial committee implement changes that make the magazine something you, our readers, want to read. We’ve added more feature articles from more experts in the SIU industry and have scaled back on some of the columns, so they appear on a less frequent basis.

Three years ago we transitioned to a digital format for the spring, summer and fall issues with the winter issue being the only print issue each year. As printing and postage costs continue to rise, and due to the fact that many of our members access the digital version of the winter issue we’ve made the decision to go digital for all four issues of the magazine. We live in a digital world and we need to stay current.

There are many benefits to digital issues of the magazine:
1. Read online anywhere you like (read the spring issue here)
2. It will never get lost or damaged
3. Simply click on an advertisement and you are instantly taken to the website of the vendor you are interested in
4. Download the issue into a PDF format and print all or a portion of the magazine
5. Share the PDF with your claims, underwriting or sales staff
6. ALSO – there is a searchable database of previous SIU Today articles for solid reference materials

Though we will no longer print SIU Today we will continue to bring you relevant content that will help keep you informed about IASIU, its members and provide valuable information on current trends and techniques in the insurance fraud fight.

All the best,

Ron Bryant
IASIU Editorial Chair
