The International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU) announced the resignation of their president, Wade Wickre, due to a change in his career. Wickre was currently serving in the last year of his third term as president. His membership with IASIU spans more than 27 years.

“I’ve had the opportunity to serve our Board with many distinguished colleagues who, through their work, developed a strong foundation for IASIU and its Members for the future,” said Wickre. He continued, “There are many projects and much work going on at IASIU. That work will continue under Dallas Barnes’ leadership along with new and exciting changes to keep IASIU in front of issues and make it relevant in the insurance fraud industry. Our membership is larger today than ever before and our board’s work supports members from 27 countries and 43 chapters and growing. IASIU is the largest association of insurance fraud investigators in the world, and all of our members and volunteer leaders should be proud of their contributions.”

Wickre will be succeeded in his presidency by Dallas Barnes from Farmers Insurance. “Wade has poured his heart and soul into not only growing IASIU, but also into strengthening our programs and benefits across the board,” said Barnes. “The goal of any good leader is to leave an organization better off than you found it. Wade has far exceeded that measure, and we owe him a debt of gratitude.”

Wade, it was a pleasure working with you during my time on the board and various committees. I also thank you for your care and compassion. It says a lot about a leader who will reach out and check in with people. I will never forget that. I wish you the best of luck moving forward. And Dallas I know you will be an amazing leader. You are well respected in our industry.

Thank you Wade, for your service, your dedication and your passion; without you we would not have gone so far as we have. It has been a very good tenure you’ve had. I am also sure that Dallas Barnes will do his utmost in leading IASIU onwards. Good luck to you Wade, from here in Europe and see you sometime soon.

Wade, thank you for your leadership and dedication to IASIU over the years. You have certainly helped the organization on its road to greatness. I can think of no better person to step in than Dallas Barnes to lead IASIU into the future.
