The Minnesota chapter will hold is fall seminar on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.

Speakers: 

Dick L. Mah, “Dicky”, is the Group Supervisor of the Tactical Diversion Group at the Minneapolis St. Paul District Office of the Drug Enforcement Administration.  Dicky currently supervises a task force (comprised of federal agents, task force officers and diversion investigators) engaged in conducting investigations of the manufacture, importation, trafficking, and diversion of legitimate pharmaceutical drugs and listed chemicals to illegal channels.  Dicky has been with the DEA for the past 20 years, having served offices in Chicago, Kabul,          Jakarta and Hong Kong.  During his time at DEA, Dicky has develop a specialty in asset seizure investigations and bulk currency smuggling      investigations.

Kimberly S. Brill is a Diversion Investigator and Group Supervisor of a Diversion Group at the Minneapolis St. Paul District Office of the Drug    Enforcement Administration.  She has been employed at the Minneapolis office since March of 2005 and has worked in the Diversion Group and the Tactical Diversion Squad there.  During her time at DEA, Ms. Brill has conducted a wide variety of regulatory, administrative, civil and      criminal investigations related to controlled substances.

 

Tami Rockholt, RN, As a Registered Nurse for over 25 years, Tami Rockholt has gained invaluable  experience and knowledge in acute hospital nursing care. She spent time in many areas including the Emergency Room, Critical Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and Labor and Delivery.  In 1990, due to a serious ski accident which left her with significant physical issues and prevented her from working in a hospital setting, she became a Registered Nurse Auditor for several Insurance claim auditing firms. 

In 1997, utilizing her auditing experience, she turned her attention to the formation of Health Cost Management.  As President of Health Cost Management, she watched her company grow to be a significant competitor in the medical review business.   In September 2010, Health Cost Management was acquired by ExamWorks, Inc.

At the present time, Tami is continuing her practice as a Nurse Consultant, reviewing medical records and bills and testifying as a medical billing expert witness. In addition, she is now representing INFORM Software Corporation, a provider of automatic fraud detection software.

Michael Fossey, MS  Mike Fossey is a Physicist by training and an Engineer by trade. He has spent most of his career developing products in various industries, including aviation and semiconductor equipment.  From 2002 to 2010, Mike helped Tami Rockholt manage the company she founded, Health Cost Management (HCM). At HCM, in addition to his management duties, Mike developed the medical bill review programs used by the company and performed the analytical work on many fraud fighting projects.

Mike is currently a consultant for INFORM Software Corporation and is tasked with ongoing development of medical billing fraud detection capability within INFORM's RiskShield software.  He continues to support Tami’s business with software development, database management and analysis of medical fraud data.
