The next meeting of NC IASIU is scheduled for 11am, Wednesday July 18, 2018 at our regular meeting location, Highwoods Conference Center, 416-G Gallimore Dairy Road, Greensboro, NC.

We’ll have pizza so please RSVP to Leigh. We had to cancel our last meeting due to an anemic response. The speaker was coming from out of town, and would have incurred travel and lodging expenses on his own, and we could not take the chance of low attendance.

In July we will have Kevin Brown speak. He is an ASE Master Automotive Technician, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Science from University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).  Prior to earning his engineering degree, Mr. Brown worked as a Shop Foreman. Kevin recently made an interesting presentation to SC-IFI on analyzing vehicle damage and airbag control module data, so we’ve asked him to come speak to us on the same subject. There is a lot here that can aid in your investigations. He is very knowledgeable on all aspects of vehicles, and if you have questions you’d like to ask on topics other than the ACM data he can accommodate you.

You will get 1 hour of CE for this July training session.

Non-members and regular claim employees will be invited, but we’re giving IASIU members the first chance to reserve a spot. Once all the spots are taken, there are no more.

The CIFI prep course and exam will be offered after the meeting. The prep course will begin at 1:00 pm and the exam will begin at 3:00 pm. Be sure to register to take the exam in advance. The prep course is offered free to all those registered to take the exam.
